belly dancing!

Finally a little glance at the moves that are going on inside my belly. They are getting much stronger and it's so amazing to see and feel them!

(sorry I'm not the best videographer, but it's also kind of hard when you can't predict when the baby is going to move!) Most of the moves are on the right side of my belly! Enjoy :)

Right on Track!

On Monday, I had my 23 week appointment (already!) and it went great. I'm measuring right on, at exactly 23cm. The babies heart rate was in the 150's, which was higher than 4 weeks ago (130's) so we have NO idea if we are having a little boy or girl based on the old wives tales! One month we think it may be a boy, then one month we think it may be a girl...he/she is already keeping us on our toes.
I've gained 14lbs which is A LOT to me and also scares me. I know I know...I have a baby growing inside of me, but this is something that I've always had a fear of. I will get past this, but it is difficult.

Oh - and the baby told me that they really like to have ice cream for dessert. I have to make the baby happy, right? :)

Florida 2010

Joel was sent to Orlando for the PGA show and Jeff (Joel's boss) offered to send me down with Joel for the weekend. It was so nice to have a little getaway with just the two of us. Although the weather wasn't the best, we were still very fortunate to have a mini vacation before the bambino arrives in June. We visited Sea World which was fun because Joel had never been. We are really excited to return in a few years with our kids in tow! We also did a little shopping since Saturday was rainy and purchased a few outfits for the Bean. Even though he/she isn't here yet, we (as a dutch couple) couldn't pass up on the great deals that Carters was having on baby clothes :) We also went to dinner in Downtown Disney, another place Joel had never been, so it cute to see his reaction to everything. It was like a little kid in a candy store!

Growing Belly!

Just a few picture updates of the ever growing belly. The kicks are more regular, which is a reminder of how blessed we are to be having a child. God really is amazing!
